Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Pacific Engineering Systems LLC ("Pacific Engineering", "we", "us") collects when you visit our store or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We sell and ship only within the United States.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to take and fulfil an order:

• Contact and shipping details — the name, email address, postal shipping address, and (where provided) phone number you enter at checkout.
• Order details — the products you buy, amounts, and the status of your order and its shipment.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (see below). We never receive or store your full card number.
• How you reached us — the campaign tags in a link you followed (such as the utm_source in a link we shared), an advertising click identifier, and the website you came from. We use this only to understand which of our own marketing efforts are working.

We measure how visitors reach us using only our own first-party data, described above. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising, we set no advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not build advertising profiles of you.

How we use your information

• To process your order, take payment, and deliver your products.
• To send you transactional email about your order, such as an order confirmation.
• To provide support and respond to your questions.
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe on a secure, Stripe-hosted checkout page. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with the contact and shipping information you provided.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the store, and only as needed to fulfil your order:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Shippo and the carriers it connects to (such as the USPS) — to rate, buy, and track shipping labels for your order.
• Resend — to deliver transactional order email.
• Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of this site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies, and no advertising or third-party tracking cookies:

• A strictly necessary cookie to remember your shopping cart between pages. It carries no personal information — just an unguessable cart identifier.
• An attribution cookie recording how you reached us (the campaign tags, click identifier, or referring site described above), so we can measure our own marketing. It holds no personal information and is never shared or used to track you elsewhere.

Marketing

We do not send marketing email. The only email we send is transactional — messages about an order you have placed.

Data retention

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order, provide support, and satisfy our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit and limiting access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to provide a copy of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. To make a request, email us at privacy@pacificengineering.us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and we may need to verify your identity before we act.

Do Not Track

Because we do not track visitors across third-party websites or over time, we do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals from your browser.

Children's privacy

This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
